BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GETTING READY FOR PROM SATURDAY

  

Preparations are wrapping up for the Brenham High School junior and senior prom this weekend.

This year’s prom, themed “Garden Gala”, is set for Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight at Deep in the Heart Farms.  Doors to the venue open at 3 p.m.

Prom Coordinator Jennifer Fuchs says students will be able to enjoy a night full of fun activities, including the chance to win giveaway items donated by local families and businesses.

 

In addition, sophomore servers who will be working at the event will perform for students.  There will also be the announcement of prom king and queen at 11 p.m.

Prom tickets are still available through tomorrow (Friday), and can be purchased at school lunches.  Tickets are $20 for seniors and $30 for juniors.  Students will need to have their tickets with them at the door in order to enter.  Juniors and seniors can also still vote for prom king and queen through tomorrow, using the ballot sent to them in their school email.

Fuchs reminded the public to use caution Saturday night with students traveling to and from prom.
