BRENHAM CUB TRACK TEAM AT THE AREA MEET IN KATY

Members of the Brenham Cub Track Team took part in the Area Meet yesterday (Thursday) in Katy.
Eric Hemphill won first place in the 400 Meter Dash. Meanwhile, the 4x400 Meter Relay Team of La'Tre Bonner, Savion Ragston, Amir Johnson, and Saif Mohammed also finished in first place. They now advance to the Regional Track Meet, which is being held next week Friday-Saturday, April 29-30, at George Turner Stadium in Humble.

Other Area Track Meet participants for the Cubs:
- La'Trae Bonner - 6th place in the 400 Meter Dash
- Trey Phillips - 7th place in the Shot Put
- Amir Johnson, Eric Hemphill, Savion Ragston, and Jamar Dixon - 6th place in 4 x 100 Meter Relay
- Amir Johnson, Jamar Dixon, Saif Mohammed, and Savion Ragston - 5th place in the 4x200 Meter Relay
Only the top four finishers in each event advance to Regionals.
