EARLY VOTING STARTS MONDAY FOR BRENHAM ISD BOND ELECTION
Early voting begins this Monday for the Brenham ISD Bond Election and Texas Constitutional Amendment Election.
The Texas Legislature adopted two joint resolutions in the Second and Third Special Sessions.
As a result, the Texas Constitutional Amendment Election will be held jointly with the May 7th Brenham ISD Bond Election.
Early voting runs Monday thru Friday, April 25-29 , and then on Monday May 2nd thru Tuesday May 3rd. Voting hours each day are from 8am-5pm at the Courthouse Annex.
Austin County residents who are in the Brenham ISD will only be able to vote on the Bond proposition. Burton ISD residents will only vote in the Constitutional Amendment Election. The remaining Brenham ISD voters will be able to vote in both elections.
Election Day is May 7th. There will be four polling places open, one in each precinct.
In Precinct One, voters can go to the Washington County Events Center. For Precinct Two, they can go to the VFW Hall. Precinct Three voters can go to the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library. Precinct Four voters can go to the Blinn College Student Center.
