WASHINGTON COUNTY 4-H WELL REPRESENTED AT THE DISTRICT 11 4-H SPRING SPECTACULAR

  

The Washington County 4-H Club was well represented at this year’s Coastal Bend District 11 4-H Spring Spectacular in Victoria.

The two-day event brought together contestants from 18 southeast Texas counties to compete in a multitude of contests to promote public speaking and presentation skills, self-esteem, team work, and knowledge and skills in project areas.

To be able to compete on the District level, Washington County 4-Hers also competed and qualified at the local 4-H County Round-Up held earlier this year.

Washington County 4-Her Madison Moran served in her capacity as Coastal Bend District 11 4-H 3^rd Vice Chairman during the Spring Spectacular. She helped with contest registration, contest coordination, and award announcements over the event’s two-day period.
