BRENHAM SO/UNIFIED PARTICIPATES IN SPECIAL OLYMPICS SUMMER GAMES

Brenham Unified Team

The Brenham ISD Special Olympics/Unified Team took part in the Special Olympics of Texas Summer Games over the weekend in San Antonio.

According to Brenham ISD, there were over 1,000 participants in attendance, and the Brenham team did very well.

S’Maeya Britton won the Gold medal in the 100 Meter Dash and sixth in the Mini Javelin Throw.

Kody Elder was 4th in the 200 Meter Dash and 4th in the running long jump.

Clayton Grimm won the Silver medal in the 100 Meter Dash and the Gold Medal Mini Javelin Throw.

Malachi Kesee won the Bronze medal in the Mini Javelin Throw, and finished fifth in the 100 Meter Dash.

Ava Redman took home the Silver medal in 100 Meter Dash, and fourth in the Mini Javelin Throw.

Mason Tender finished  5th in both the 100 Dash and 5th in the Mini Javelin Throw.

Two Brenham Unified Relays also entered the 4x100 Meter Relay.  The first team consisting of Adreamia Berry, Riley Janes, Kody Elder, and Aiden Schulz finished 5th.  The second team consisting of Connor Schlottmann, Mason Tedder, Bryce Wilson and Malachi Kesee finished 6th.
