BELLVILLE POLICE: WOMAN FLOWN TO HOSPITAL AFTER ‘DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE’

  

Bellville police say a woman was flown to the hospital Sunday evening after being struck by a trailer during the course of a domestic dispute.

According to a release from Bellville Police Chief Jason Smalley, officers and other local emergency responders were called out to an auto pedestrian accident on Briarwood Lane.

Upon arrival, the incident appeared to be a hit and run, but further investigation revealed that it was actually a matter involving a “domestic disturbance”.

The victim was airlifted to Memorial Hermann in Houston with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.

The incident remains under investigation by the Bellville Police Department.  No arrests have been made at this time.
