HOUSTON WOMAN ARRESTED FRIDAY ON DRUG CHARGES

A Houston woman was taken into custody Friday on drug charges after a traffic stop.
Brenham Police report that Friday afternoon at 12:15, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the 900 block of Highway 290 West. An investigation was conducted and the passenger, Cierria Stewart, 33 of Houston, was taken into custody for Possession Marijuana less than 2 OZ and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
