A minister from Brenham begins his journey today (Wednesday) back to Ukraine to offer additional aid during the Russian invasion.

Bill Rigsby is traveling back to continue his work delivering food and supplies and providing transport to people in need.  Rigsby returned home last month after six weeks in Ukraine, and expects he will spend a few months more in the country on this trip.

Rigsby will focus on the port cities in southern Ukraine, as he anticipates there will soon be major conflict there.

Rigsby also plans to prioritize setting up manufacturing for small houses and shelters, saying many towns have been left uninhabitable.

Rigsby thanked the Washington County community for allowing him to undertake these efforts through its continued support and generosity.

Donations through Faith Mission’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Humanitarian Relief Fund will support Rigsby and his nonprofit, KnowableTruth, in this initiative.  Donations are being taken at Bank of Brenham, Brenham National Bank or Citizens State Bank.

Anyone interested in following Rigsby can view blog posts on his website, www.knowabletruth.com.
