EIGHT SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT

  

Eight people pleaded guilty and were sentenced Thursday in 21st District Court by Judge Carson Campbell.

50-year-old Michelle Smith Jackson of Brenham was sentenced to 3 ½ years in prison and ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution for Credit/Debit Card Abuse against the Elderly.  She also had her probation adjudicated and received the same sentence length, plus a $500 fine, for Hindering Apprehension of a Known Felon.

44-year-old Marcelo Rivas of Brenham was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.  He must also pay $180 in restitution.

38-year-old Elizabeth Nichole Briscoe of Beaumont had her probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 8 months in state jail for Criminal Mischief between $2,500 and $30,000.  She was also ordered to pay $6,349 in restitution.

48-year-old Hector Lozano of San Antonio received 10 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, as well as 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for a second charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.  He will also have to complete 200 hours of community service and take a drug offender education program.

21-year-old Nathaniel Debryan Williams of Washington was sentenced to 8 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Deadly Conduct – Discharge of a Firearm.  He must also maintain no contact with the victim in the case, surrender his firearms to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and maintain no contact with or affiliate with any known gang or gang members.

32-year-old Daniel Alberto Reyes of McAllen received 5 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.  He must also pay a $500 fine, complete 200 hours of community service and finish a drug offender education program.

31-year-old Lakendra Anzel Millard of Houston was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Theft of a Firearm and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.  She was also ordered to pay a total of $10,898 in restitution.

54-year-old Jeffery Damnen Harris of Houston was sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.  He must also complete 96 hours of community service, have no contact with the victim except authorized through County Court at Law, and undergo an anger management class and drug offender education program.  The case was handled by a special prosecutor, Elton Mathis from Waller County.
