The Washington County Ladies Lions Club announced its annual award winners during its meeting Monday.

Thresia Schlabach was named as the Lion of the Year.  The Rookie of the Year is incoming president Linda Kocian, who received the gavel from outgoing president Judy Hulsey.

Perfect attendance awards were announced for 13 members: DeDe Eastveld, Judy Hulsey, Connie Kendall, Enid Kocian, Linda Kocian, Peggy Kramer, Sherry Kruger, Pat Lueckemeyer, Shirley Moehlmann, Linda Oberhoff, Thresia Schlabach, Bette Tofel and Sheila Webb.
