GRAND JURY RETURNS 28 INDICTMENTS

  

The Washington County Grand Jury met Tuesday and returned 28 indictments.

Kaleib Kyle Ahart, 28 of Austin, was indicted for Money Laundering of between $2,500 and $30,000.

Marckel Lee Burns, 27 of Brenham, was indicted for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Philippe August Cras, 63 of Kingwood was indicted for Driving While Intoxicated, 3 or more offences.

Daniel Fritz, 40 of Brenham, was indicted for Sex Abuse of a Child by Sexual Contact with a youth Under 14 Years of Age.

Byron Alberto Zapata Gomez, 37 of Brenham, was indicted for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation.

Nicholas Termaine Graves, 44 of Brenham, was indicted for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.

Jose Hernandez-Martinez, 20 of Austin, was indicted for Smuggling of Persons and Money Laundering of between $2,500 and $30,000.

Jaydan Jodre Morgan, 19 of Lamarque, was indicted for 2 counts of Theft of between $2,500 and $30,000.

Bobby Ortega, 31 of Somerville, was indicted for Credit or Debit Card Abuse and Fraudulent Use of Identifying Info.

Craig Sweed, 29 of Washington, was indicted for Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000.

Trumarlon Sweed, 20 of Washington, was also indicted for Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000.

Sahvanna Gail White, 30 of Bellville, was indicted for 3 counts of Abandon or Endangering a Child.

Eric Jermaine Winters, 45 of Missouri City, was indicted for Attempted Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Six people were indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  They are: Samuel Aguino, 34 of San Antonio, Cordell Russell Fischer, 23 of Ledbetter, Jason Christopher McGee, 43 of San Angelo, Lonnie Ray Moore, 42 of Brenham, Reginald Lee Shelby, 43 of Austin, and Joshua Stevens, 42 of Texas City.

Two people were previously indicted by the Washington County Grand Jury and have since been arrested so their names can now be released.

Christopher Jefferson, 30 of Brenham, was indicted for Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury.

Christine Ann Tomczak, 44 of Brenham, was indicted for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, and Attempted Tampering with Physical Evidence.
