BURLESON COUNTY FAIR IN CALDWELL RETURNS SEPTEMBER 17-24
Area residents are getting ready for the return of the Burleson County Fair in Caldwell, which runs September 17-24.
The Burleson County Fair Parade through downtown Caldwell is going to be Saturday, September 17th, at 10am.
Then, on Sunday, September 18th, they will hold the Fair Queen’s Contest. This year’s Burleson County Fair Queen candidates are Kylan Canon, Alexis Macik, Hope Savage, and Jalynn Urbanosky.
The Queen is chosen based on ticket sales, stage presence, her biography, and two interview questions.
Prior to that, they will be holding a Little Miss Contest, as well.
The commercial heifer sale is Friday, September 23rd, at 6pm, while the Youth Livestock Auction is Saturday, September 24, at 5pm.
Entertainment for the Burleson County Fair will include the Wyatt Ellis Band on Thursday, September 22nd. Meanwhile, performing on Friday, September 23rd, are the Texas Unlimited Band from 7-10pm, and Wade Bowen from 10:30pm to midnight.
There has been a change in the entertainment line-up for Saturday, September 24th. Originally, the Oak Ridge Boys were scheduled to be the headliners, but they had to cancel their appearance.
They are being replaced by Rick Trevino, who is performing from 8:30-10pm, and Mark Wills, who is performing from 10:30pm-midnight. The Crossroads Band will also be playing from 7-8:30pm, and then from midnight to 1am.
