CITY OF BRENHAM SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR BOARDS, COMMITTEES
The City of Brenham is looking for volunteers to serve on its advisory boards, commissions and committees.
Community members are encouraged to apply to serve on the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee, Board of Adjustment, Brenham Community Development Corporation, Brenham Housing Authority, Building Standards Commission, Library Advisory Board, Main Street Board, Parks and Recreation Board, and Planning and Zoning Commission.
These boards and committees assist the city council and city staff with developing recommendations on policy matters, and offer a way for residents to get involved in the community and their local government.
Applications are being accepted until September 30th. All appointees will begin service on January 1, 2023 for either a two-year or three-year term. Anyone currently serving on a board who wishes to continue serving will need to reapply by September 30th.
