JUNIOR LIVESTOCK AUCTION FRIDAY AT WASHINGTON CO. FAIR
Hundreds of livestock exhibitors will have their hard work pay off today (Friday) at the 154th Washington County Fair’s Junior Livestock Auction.

The auction begins at 1 p.m. in Barn #1 at the Washington County Expo, with approximately 260 lots. KWHI’s live broadcast of the auction starts at 12:45 p.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
Livestock judging wraps up today with the commercial halter heifer show at 8 a.m. Commercial steer awards will also be presented at 8 a.m.
Today is Kid’s Day and Veterans Day at the fair. Fair attractions such as the Heart of America Carnival, children’s petting zoo, antique farm equipment displays, country creations and crafts and vendor booths will be open. Rodeo activities continue with mutton bustin’ at 6:30 p.m. and the CPRA Rodeo and wild steer saddling at 7:30 p.m.
Tonight’s musical entertainment will be the Read Southall Band at 8 p.m., followed by Flatland Cavalry at 10 p.m.
KWHI will have live reports from the fair starting at 10 a.m., leading up to the broadcast of the auction after the noon newscast.
