MAJEWSKI BEING INDUCTED INTO UT ATHLETICS HALL OF HONOR TONIGHT (FRIDAY)

Former Brenham Cub Dustin Majewski will be inducted this (Friday) evening into the University of Texas Athletic Hall of Honor.
Majewski played baseball for the Longhorns on their 2002 National Championship Team and their 2003 Team that finished third at the College World Series.
This past Monday on the Brenham Sportsline, Majewski discussed his reaction to finding out about the induction.
During his time with the Longhorns, Majewski was a two time All American, a two time MVP of the Big 12 Tournament, and a two time NCAA Austin Regional MVP. He was also a College World Series All-Tournament Team selection, and the 2003 Team MVP.
Also being inducted are Sam Acho for football, Kevin Durant and Ovie Dotson for basketball, Jonny Levine for tennis, Kirk Stackle and B.J. Bedford for Swimming and Diving, Lindsay Gardner for Softball, Kate Golden for Women’s Golf, Robyne Johnson for Track & Field, and Anne Grousbeck Matta for Tennis.
The induction ceremony takes place tonight (Friday) at 7pm at the LBJ Auditorium and Conference Center.
The inductees will also be given a special salute during the Longhorns game against UT-San Antonio tomorrow (Saturday).
