CUBETTES BEAT LAKE CREEK 3-2 TO IMPROVE TO 4-0 IN DISTRICT

The Brenham Cubettes survived a late comeback attempt by Lake Creek to win last night’s match three sets to two.

Brenham won the first two sets 25-19 and 25-19.  Lake Creek came back to win the next two sets 25-23 and 27-25, but Brenham would take the final set 18-16.

• Brooke Bentke, 23 kills and 14 digs
• Charli Crowson,12 kills and 37 assists
• Lillie Thibodeaux finished with 15 kills
• Sienna Kelm had 19 digs
• Kristen Kuehn added 33 digs
• Averi Frazier finished with 10 digs and 25 assists

The Cubettes improve to 4-0 in district. They will be at Montgomery on Friday.
