ELEVEN PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Eleven people plead guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week.

Rigoberto Ramirez-Diaz, 40 of Hempstead, after a hearing, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation.  He was also ordered to pay a $750 fine.

Cedric Dewayne Love, 45 of Navasota, was sentenced to 7 years in prison for Assault of a Peace Officer or Judge.

Jose Hernandez-Martinez, 20 of Austin, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Smuggling of Persons.  He was also convicted of Money Laundering between $2,500 and $30,000 and was given time served in the Washington County Jail on those charges.

Billy Joe Jordan, Jr., 64 of Hempstead, was sentenced to 9 months in State Jail for Theft of Property less than $2500 with 2 or More Previous Convictions.

Gregory Paul Garcia, 22 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Assault of a Pregnant Person.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, perform 150 hours of community service, and have no contact with victim other than purposes of complying with County Court at Law orders.

Dominic Peterson, 22 of Austin, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Laura Marie Corley, 37 of Brenham, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 150 hours of community service.

Eric Trent Allison, 33 of Houston, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay a $1550 fine and perform 150 hours of community service.

Jesse Paul Sanchez, 43 of Houston, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Kaitlyn Rae Hart, 26 of The Woodlands, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Ciaunna Marie Lara, 20 of Austin, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
