BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO DISCUSS 2026-27 GOALS & PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
The Brenham School Board is set to gather for its next regular meeting on Monday.
Agenda items will include an update on Brenham ISD’s goals and performance objectives for the 2026-27 school year, the purchase of CTE curriculum and library books, and updates on facilities and financials.
Trustees will also look to certify compliance with certain laws under Texas Education Code as enacted by Senate Bill 12 from the 89th Legislative Session. The laws pertain to parental rights in education, student clubs at public schools, and certain requirements and prohibitions regarding instruction, diversity, equity, and inclusion duties and social transitioning.
Additionally, the board will acknowledge a donation from Woodmen of the World and mini-grant donations from the Brenham ISD Education Foundation for teachers, departments and campuses.
The board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School. The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD’s YouTube channel.
