BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO ACT ON LEGAL AGREEMENT FOR CITY/BURTON ISD FIRE SUPPRESSION LINE

  

The Burton City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday to revisit an item tabled from its latest meeting.

In the only item set for a vote, councilmembers will consider approving a draft legal agreement between the city and Burton ISD regarding the connection of the fire suppression line to the city’s water system, and establishing related stipulations and requirements.

The item was pushed to a special meeting in order to give the city and school district more time to submit feedback on the draft agreement, governing the connection of a 12-inch fire suppression line to the city’s 6-inch water line.

The council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
