BRENHAM ISD SAFETY & SECURITY COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS SCHOOL SAFETY ITEMS THURSDAY
Several district safety and security items will come before the Brenham ISD Safety and Security Committee, some behind closed doors, at its meeting Thursday.
Committee members will hear a report on committee roles and expectations, assess standard response protocols for Brenham ISD schools, and review public aspects of safety and security for the school district.
A closed session will then be held to deliberate and take possible action on the implementation of security personnel, security devices and/or security audits and updates.
The discussion follows a Brenham School Board meeting on Monday when trustees were informed that at Thursday’s committee meeting, they would get the results of an intruder detection audit conducted in Brenham ISD by the Texas School Safety Center on September 28th.
The committee will meet Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Brenham ISD Administration Office board room.
