KIDS GONE FISHIN’ OFFERS UNIQUE FISHING EXPERIENCE

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center had anglers of all ages come out on Saturday to enjoy a relaxed fishing experience during the 16th Annual Kids Gone Fishin’.

Hundreds of pounds of catfish were dumped into the aquatic center’s outdoor leisure pool for fishers to try to reel in, as they learned about the basics of fishing.

Saturday’s winners include:

6 & Under:

  • 1st place – Soliman Davidson
  • 2nd Place – Kade Hughs
  • 3rd Place – Logan Carroll

Age 7 – 11:

  • 1st place – Cory McChargue
  • 2nd place – Tinley Manerez
  • 3rd place – Liberty McClanahan

Age 12 -17:

  • 1st Place – Wayne Brown III
  • 2nd Place – Gage Hall
  • 3rd Place – Parker Peters

First Fish of the Day - Atticus Grabarschick
Most Fish Caught - Liberty McClanahan

Along with the fishing, families enjoyed free swimming in the indoor leisure pool with inflatables, arts and crafts, face painting, and the opportunity to visit with local first responders and watch presentations.
