BRENHAM MAN CHARGED IN COLLEGE STATION MURDER INVESTIGATION

A Brenham man is charged with murder in Brazos County for the death of a College Station man.

17-year-old Censear Solomon was booked on Tuesday into the Brazos County Jail for his alleged role in the death of 26-year-old Rashawn Jones. 

College Station police issued a murder warrant on Tuesday for Solomon, who was arrested that afternoon with the assistance of the Hempstead Police Department.

Solomon is one of three suspects that police say were involved in the shooting and killing of Jones during a targeted home invasion on January 3rd in the 400 block of Southwest Parkway in College Station.

Information shared by the College Station Police Department stated Solomon’s last known addresses were in Brenham and Hempstead. 

Solomon’s bond is set at $150,000. 

Investigators are still building information on the other two suspects.  Anyone with knowledge regarding Jones’ murder is asked to contact College Station police at 979-764-3600.
