Police say that Houston has previously lived in both La Grange and Schulenburg.

60 years in prison???? That’s more than I’ve heard most murders getting….smh—and he was out on bond and the don’t even have a photo to provide…something doesn’t sound right.
How about a picture of the guy?
If this happened on the 12 January why are we first hearing about it and why didn’t they show a picture of this person.
How is a suspect who is on trial for a violent crime able to just “walk out” of the courtroom during a trial? Are there not deputies or other law enforcement that escort the suspects everywhere they go?
My thought exactly
Probably because he had already bonded out of jail and was no longer in custody.
Why was he not contained, and was able to just walk out? Doesn’t make sense.
