Gather ‘N Grace, founded by All Things Acres Bake Shop owner Tara Royer Steele, holds the dinners each Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the park pavilion.  Donations are welcome but are not necessary.

Royer Steele says her mother, who passed away in 2020, served as the inspiration for the community dinners.

The meals are prepared by the Bake Shop at All Things Acres with help from the Bountiful Blessings Day Program, who provide desserts.

The dinners began in September at the bake shop at 2758 FM 389, but Royer Steele and her husband, Rick, wanted to bring them to a larger, more central location so that more people could participate.  In the event of bad weather, the dinners move back to the bake shop.

Royer Steele says Gather ‘N Grace seeks to share knowledge and life skills with community members so that they can live a spiritually, physically and mentally healthy life.

Royer Steele plans to add music to the dinners and hopes to be able to use these events to give back to other local nonprofits.  Next Monday, February 13th, Gather ‘N Grace will partner with Salem Lutheran Church and asks everyone who attends to bring a new pair of shoes.  The shoes will be donated to Brenham Blessings.
