TOMBALL MAN KILLED IN CRASH WITH 18-WHEELER OUTSIDE CARMINE
A Tomball man was killed after a collision with an 18-wheeler Saturday night just east of Carmine.
DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz reports that around 9 p.m., a 2022 Lexus SUV was traveling eastbound on Highway 290 at Upshaw Road when it struck the trailer undercarriage of a 2018 Peterbilt. The 18-wheeler was turning left from Upshaw Road to travel east on Highway 290.
The driver of the Lexus, 20-year-old Ngo Khang Dang, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No injuries were reported for the driver of the Peterbilt.
Investigation is ongoing.
