WALLER CO. ASKING FOR HELP IN FINDING FUGITIVE
Waller County District Attorney’s Office is currently seeking information on the whereabouts of convicted felon Ronnie James McDonald, Jr. McDonald was indicted by a Waller County grand jury on two felony offenses: Sexual Assault and Prohibited Sexual Conduct. McDonald, who was out on bond pending trial reported for trial on Monday, March 27, 2023 in the 506thJudicial District Court of Waller County and was present as a jury was empaneled. McDonald’s trial resumed on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. McDonald failed to appear in court as ordered by the judge on Tuesday morning and his whereabouts are currently unknown. Since McDonald did appear for trial on Monday for jury selection his trial was able to continue without him present, and on Wednesday afternoon a Waller County jury found him guilty of both felony charges.
