VEHICLE DESTROYED IN CAR FIRE WEDNESDAY
Brenham and Meyersville firefighters responded to a vehicle fire around noon on Wednesday.
The car fire was in the 1800 block of Highway 105, near Creekside Veterinary Service.
When units arrived on scene, they found a four-door Buick fully involved.
The Brenham Fire Department used a handline and tank water to extinguish the fire, while the Meyersville Volunteer Fire Department provided blocking for the safety of those on scene. Units were on site for around an hour.
The car was a total loss, but no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
