LAKE SOMERVILLE EMBANKMENT ROAD TO CLOSE THROUGH FRIDAY
The embankment road between Lake Somerville Marina and Campground and Welch Park will be temporarily closed starting today (Wednesday).
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Fort Worth District says the road will be closed from 9 a.m. today through 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The closure is in response to safety concerns associated with traffic control as crews work to survey the embankment. To ensure public safety, the roadway will be closed until the survey is complete.
