3A AND 4A STATE TRACK MEET RESULTS

It was a pair of three-peats for Carlie Weiser of Giddings at the Class 4A Meet in Austin.

For the third year in a row, Weiser won the state championships in both the Shot Put and the Discus.

In other results:

Ryanne Meyers of Sealy placed fourth in the High Jump. 

Caldwell’s Ja’Asia Mathis finished 3^rd in the Long Jump.

Taniah Coleman of Sealy placed 6^th in the Long Jump, and 5^th in the Triple Jump. 

On the Boys side, Austen Diggs of La Grange finished third in the 100 Meter Dash, but then came back to win the State Championship in the 200 Meter Dash.  The La Grange 4x200 Relay Team placed 5^th. 

Meanwhile, Hunter Kunkel of Bellville was 4^th in the 300 Meter Hurdles.

At the 3A Meet on the Boys side, Ty-Vonne Whitehead of Columbus finished in 7^th place for the 100 Meter Dash. 

On the Girls Side, the Hempstead 4x200 Meter Relay Team placed 9^th.
