BLINN BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEET ON TUESDAY

Diane Kruse Kettler (Blinn)

The Blinn College Board of Trustees will be swearing in a new member and a returning member at their next meeting on Tuesday morning.

The board will be swearing in Diane Kruse Kettler for Precinct Two, and Allison Bentke for Precinct Three.

Kettler defeated Andi Liner in the May 6th election to win the seat being vacated by Douglas Borchardt, who chose not to run for another term of office.

Bentke has been serving on the Board since 2021 when she was chosen to fill the unexpired term of Teddy Boehm, who retired from her position. Bentke was unopposed in the May 6th election.

Both Kettler and Bentke will serve six-year terms on the board.

In addition to the swearing in, the Blinn Board will canvass the election results, and select board officers.

Board members are also going to meet in executive session to discuss authorizing the administration to negotiate and execute a State Agency Advance Funding Agreement with TxDOT for the College Avenue Street and Sidewalk Realignment on the Brenham Campus.

The Blinn College Board of Trustees meet Tuesday at 10am in the board room on the third floor of the Administration Building.
