WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET TUESDAY
The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet in Special Session this coming Tuesday.
Among the items on the agenda is to request qualifications for the Washington County Jail Kitchen through the American Rescue Plan.
They are also expected to approve the appointments of a Washington County Extension 4-H Agent and a Washington County Extension Family and Community Health Agent.
In a related item, they are expected to approve a position description for an office manager for the Extension Office.
In addition to that, Commissioners will discuss the possible approval of Oil and Gas Development Permits that Magnolia Oil and Gas LLC has applied for that are located in Carmine in Precinct Four. One is located on Lomax Harmel Road and the other is located on Sandtown Road.
Also at the meeting, the Commissioners will be approving a proclamation declaring May 22 to May 26 as Flood Awareness Week in Washington County.
The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9am in their chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
