OBSERVANCE FOR FALLEN PEACE OFFICERS MAY 26 IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

A memorial observance for peace officers who died in the line of duty will be held later this month in downtown Brenham.
Citizens are invited on Friday, May 26th at 10 a.m. to the north side of the courthouse square for a service hosted by the Washington County Peace Officers Association.
The observance will begin with a prayer, followed by the presentation of flags and the Pledge of Allegiance. After that will be the reading of names of officers killed in the line of duty in 2022.
The service will conclude with a wreath presentation and the playing of “Taps”.
