The three are currently in the Lee County Jail where they face multiple other charges, in addition to the newly issued warrants out of Washington County.

The suspects were arrested on Friday after the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a property owner about three men on his property.  Deputies located the individuals and attempted to detain them, but the suspects pointed a weapon at them.  This led to one of the deputies firing at the suspects, who fled the scene in a red passenger car.

After a brief pursuit which ended with the vehicle sustaining a flat tire, one of the suspects was arrested at the vehicle.  Two others fled on foot but were later apprehended.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, several homes around the area were broken into.  A firearm seized during the arrest was discovered to have been taken from a Washington County burglary, and several other firearms were located during investigation.

Bond for the charges out of Washington County totals $400,000 for each suspect.  Should any of them be released on bond in Lee County, they will be transferred to Washington County to face charges.
