MEMORIAL DAY CLOSURES FOR BRENHAM, WASHINGTON CO.

  

Local government offices will be closed today (Monday) in observance of Memorial Day. 

Office closures include Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services, the Barnhill Center and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.  All county offices will also be closed. 

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will be open today from 1 to 5 p.m. and begins regular summer hours tomorrow (Tuesday).  The Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center will also be open with hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In addition, the Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will operate on standard hours, and regular residential and commercial trash pick-up will run as normal. 

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed today.  Members can access their account information and make payments through the co-op’s website, www.bluebonnet.coop, the co-op’s MyBluebonnet mobile app, or by calling 800-842-7708.  Power outages can be reported through the website, the mobile app, or by calling 800-949-4414.  Members enrolled in Bluebonnet’s Outage Alerts can report an outage by texting OUT to 85700.
