NAVASOTA KICKS OFF SOUNDS OF SUMMER FRIDAY
The City of Navasota will host the first of its Sounds of Summer concerts tonight (Friday).
The Rapture Band, featuring a diverse repertoire containing Latin, country, Top 40 hits and many other genres, will perform in downtown Navasota on the grounds of city hall starting at 7 p.m.
The concert is free to attend. Food and drink vendors will be on site along with kids’ activities like a bounce house and water slide. Grimes County Cornhole will also host a tournament for all to join.
Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, coolers and some dancing shoes.
The next entries in the concert series are the Brown Sugar Band on July 21st and The Lost Boys on August 18th.
