WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION
The Washington County Commissioners will have several items to discuss during a special session on Tuesday morning.
The Commissioners are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on the approval of resolutions adopting commercial tax phase-in agreements between Washington County and Plan North LLC, and between Washington County and Valmont Industries.
Both tax phase-in agreements have already been approved by the Brenham City Council.
They are also scheduled to discuss awarding a contract to W Industries for the jail generator, as well as going out for bids for a portable generator.
In addition to that, the commissioners are expected to approve an Interlocal Agreement between Washington County and Burton ISD for a second school resource officer.
Another agenda item is the presentation of the monthly report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The Washington County Commissioners Court will convene Tuesday at 9am in their Chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
