BELLVILLE BAND DIRECTOR PASSES AWAY AT 46
A Bellville ISD band director has passed away unexpectedly.

Aaron Rettig died Monday at the age of 46.
Rettig was employed for 16 years at Bellville ISD. According to his obituary, he served as a band director for the Bellville Junior High and High School Bands. Prior to joining Bellville ISD, he worked for Manvel ISD and Jacksonville ISD.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Krystal, and their 8-year-old daughter, Olivia. His brother, Eric, serves as Brenham ISD’s band director.
A ceremony will be held on Saturday at the Bellville High School Auditorium. Visitation will open at 9 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 10 a.m.
