MEET THE TEACHER EVENTS SCHEDULED FOR BRENHAM, BURTON ISD SCHOOLS
Brenham and Burton ISDs have a slate of events coming up to welcome children and their families back as they get ready for the start of school in just over two weeks.

August 9th through August 14th.
Brenham ISD’s Meet the Teacher gatherings will begin on August 9th and continue on August 10th and August 14th at various times for each campus. Burton ISD’s Meet the Teacher will take place on August 9th at the elementary and high school campuses from 4 to 6 p.m.
Brenham Middle School and Brenham Junior High School will both hold their Meet the Teacher on August 9th. The middle school’s event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., while the junior high school’s will run from 5 to 7 p.m.
On August 10th, Brenham High School students can pick up their schedules and parking passes. Seniors can come by the high school from 8:30 to 10 a.m., with underclassmen following from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

There will also be Fish Camp taking place on the 10th from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for all incoming freshmen or students that are new to Brenham High School. The high school will schedule a Meet the Teacher event after school has started and student schedules are finalized.
Another event on the 10th will be the Early Childhood Learning Center’s Meet the Teacher from 4 to 6 p.m. In addition, each of the elementary campuses – Alton, Brenham and Krause – will hold their Meet the Teacher for kindergarten students from 5 to 6 p.m.
Wrapping up back-to-school events will be Meet the Teacher at the elementary campuses for grades 1-4 on August 14th from 4 to 6 p.m.
August 16th is the first day of classes for Brenham and Burton ISDs.
