CUBETTES SWEEP LAKE CREEK ON NIGHT OF MILESTONES
The Brenham Cubettes kept up their winning ways as they swept Lake Creek last (Tuesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.
The Cubettes won the sets 25-21, 25-20, and 25-20.
It was a milestone night for Charli Crowson, who finished with eight kills, eight digs, and 18 assists for the match. Crowson picked up her 1,000th career kill and her 2,000th career assist.
Lillie Thibodeaux also had three blocks in the match, and one of those blocks set a new school record for blocks in a career with 263 and counting.
Meanwhile other standouts last night included Rylee Sommerlatte, who finished with 12 kills and four blocks. Kristen Kuehn led the defense with 20 digs. Averi Frazier dished out 15 assists.
The Cubettes are now 23-11 and 4-0 in district.
Next up, Brenham will get to host Montgomery Friday night at 6pm.
