FAYETTEVILLE BOYS AND RTC GIRLS WIN DISTRICT 29-A CROSS COUNTRY MEET

The District 29-A meet was held in Round Top last Thursday with the Fayetteville Lions coming out on top for the Boys Meet, while the Round Top-Carmine Cubettes won the Girls Meet.

For the Boys Meet, Fayetteville finished with the top five runners. Cole Fenhaus was first and he was followed by Kole Schmitt, Lawson Fritsch, Mason Fenhaus, and Keagan Supak.

Dime Box had three of their members finish 7th-9th; Kyle Iselt, Rodrigo Martinez, and Jorge Becerra Rodriguez.

Fayetteville and Richards were the top two finishers and will be sending their teams to the Regional Meet at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

On the Girls' Side, Round Top-Carmine had five of the Top 10 finishers. Maggie Salinas finished 1st, Avery Nelius was 4th, Mallory Krause was 5th, Kennedy Flinn was 9th, and Makayla Smith was 10th.

Fayette had Saige Gassaway finished 3rd, while Jeslyn Martinez was in 6th place.

Round Top-Carmine and Fayetteville were the top two finishing teams, and will move on to the Regional Meet, which is also at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
