THE BARNHILL CENTER ANNOUNCES A NEW SEASON OF ENTERTAINMENT

  

The Barnhill Center At Historic Simon Theatre (TBC) in Brenham is opening ticket sales for a busy new season of performances in 2024. An exclusive week of sales for current Season Ticket holders will begin on Monday October 30th, with public sales starting on Monday November 6th.

“TBC is truly a historical gem for the community,” said Jennifer Eckermann, City of Brenham Tourism and Marketing Director. “It was built 99 years ago as Brenham’s premier entertainment center, and it is serving that important role again, attracting audiences from across the region and beyond.

“Our 2024 lineup of shows continues our tradition of offering a wide variety of music from multiple genres. In addition to concerts, we’ve mixed-in a few Musical Theater productions and more comedy than past years.”

“We bring only the best of the best to our stage,” said Sharon Brass, TBC producer. “After much research, listening, watching and discussing, we travel the region to scout talent. We also partner with similar venues to select top artists and, together, entice them to Texas for multiple shows.

“We’re continuing to broaden our offerings with artists our community will love, plus we’re bringing back three of our most popular and most-requested shows: The Malpass Brothers, Bob Wills Texas Playboys and the Las Vegas headliner, Vince King as Elvis!”

Fri Jan 19          William Lee Martin – an influential figure in the world of clean stand-up comedy.

Sun Feb 4         The Greatest Love Of All starring Belinda Davids – A tribute to Whitney Houston. (Not

associated with the Whitney Houston Estate.)

Fri Mar 1           Jimmy Fortune – the Grand Ole Opry and TV star celebrates God and Country.

Sat Mar 23        Mark Lowry – the Gospel star is joined by The Sound and Endless Highway.

Sat Apr 13         Forever Simon & Garfunkel, A Tribute – honoring the best-selling duo in Rock ‘n

Roll history.

Sat May 4          Ricky Skaggs – The Country/Bluegrass/Gospel icon with his award-winning band.

Sat May 25        Elvis by Vince King and The Vegas Mafia Band – imagine seeing Elvis Presley in concert!

Sat June 29       Grand Ol’ Americana Show – a music/comedy variety show celebrating America.

Fri July 19         Puppy Pals – a comedic Stunt Dog show from America’s Got Talent.

Sat Aug 17        Peter, Paul and Mary Alive – perfectly authentic to the original Folk legends.

Sat Sept 7         Liverpool Legends – a complete Beatles experience; formed by George Harrison’s sister.

Sat Sept 28       The Malpass Brothers – Traditional Country music with hilarious sibling banter!

Sat Oct 19         Bob Wills Texas Playboys – starring Jason Roberts, 2-time Grammy winner.

Sat Nov 16        Winter Dance Party – the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper.

Sat Dec 14        3 Redneck Tenors Christmas – Music and comedy by finalists from America’s Got Talent.

“Season Tickets are being offered again this year,” said Eckermann. “You can reserve your favorite seats in advance for all shows you wish to attend in 2024. Season Ticket holders also enjoy lower prices by purchasing tickets for multiple shows at the same time.”

Season Tickets are offered in three different package levels to correspond with the number of shows purchased together. The more shows that are purchased at one time, the deeper the discounts.

Sales for current Season Ticket holders, who want to reserve their seats, will start on Monday October 30th at 10am.

New Season Ticket sales for the public will begin on Monday November 6th.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale to the public on Monday, November 13th.
