10 PEOPLE PLEAD GUILTY IN DISTRICT COURT

  

10 people plead guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell.

Daya Alexis King, 21 of Houston, was sentenced to 8 years in prison for Aggravated Robbery.

Davon Jason Cloud, 34 of Bellville, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to three years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Justin James Pierce, 31 of Houston, was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Raekwon Javar Bell, 25 of Brenham, had his Probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 1 year state jail for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Mathew Victor Tebbens, 56 of Fishkill, New York, was sentenced to 199 days in state jail for Theft of Property between $30,000 and $150,000.

Reginald Lee Shelby, 44 of Austin, was sentenced to 10 months is state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Wilber Geovani Escobar, 19 of Brenham, was sentenced to 9 years deferred adjudication probation for Sexual Assault of a Child.  He was also ordered to have no contact with the victim, must abide by all sex offender conditions of probation, and perform 300 hours of community service.

Bobby Charles Ewing, 59 of Washington, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for two counts of Assault of a Peace Officer or Judge and Injury to a Child. He was also ordered to pay a $1500 fine.

Abelardo Segovia Galindo, 45 of Ft. Worth, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or More offences.  He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, serve 64 days Washington County Jail as condition of probation, perform 100 hours of community service, and have an interlock device installed on his vehicle for one year.

Rodolfo Rosales, 58 of Hempstead, was sentenced to 25 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

  1. Soft on crime why? Three DUI’s and probation. How can we stop this and who has to die before we say enough? When one is too many and ones never enough where do we draw a line and we say enough of this soft on crime!
