FIVE ARRESTED IN FAYETTE CO. NARCOTICS INVESTIGATION

  

Five Fayette County residents have been charged in a month-long investigation into narcotics dealing.

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek says an undercover narcotics unit executed two search warrants on Thursday at homes within La Grange city limits.

Through the course of the investigation, the unit seized over 200 grams of methamphetamine and a handgun.

Those arrested include 40-year-old John Barakat of La Grange, for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon; 42-year-old Lenise Salazar of La Grange, for Possession of a Controlled Substance; 67-year-old Fred Lotz of La Grange, for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance; 39-year-old Andrew Rivera Jr. of Plum, for Possession of a Controlled Substance; and 48-year-old Sheri Miller of Muldoon, on warrants for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Bail Jumping.
