TWO ARRESTED FRIDAY

  

Two people were arrested Friday by the Brenham Police Department.

They report that Friday afternoon at 3:55, Corporal Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of West Lubbock Street. Investigation revealed the driver, Shekyra Nemonae Punchard, 32 of Brenham, to have an active warrant out of Washington County for Bond Forfeiture. Punchard was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Then Friday evening at 7:05, Corporal Tina Bruno conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Highway 36 South. Narcotics were located during a probable cause search of the vehicle. Raymond Paul Mulla, 71 of Somerville, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 Oz.  Mulla was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
