BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO CONSIDER ADMINISTRATIVE CONTRACTS
The contracts of Burton ISD administrators will be among the main topics of consideration for the Burton School Board when it meets Monday.
In executive session, trustees will consider the contracts of Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy, Elementary and High School Principals Melinda Fuchs and Micah Goebel, and Athletic Director Jason Hodde. Any action taken will occur in open session.
Regular session items will include an order of a school board election for the positions held by David Warner, Sr. and Brian Hinze on May 4th, as well as a joint election contract with the City of Burton. There will also be a vote on adjusting the 2023-24 school calendar student minutes due to inclement weather last month.
In other business, the board will hear a bond project update and standard monthly reports.
The board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the Burton High School auditorium.
