FOUR PEOPLE PLEAD GUILTY IN DISTRICT COURT
Four people plead guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge J.D. Langley.
Shalyn Grace Henroid, 25 of Brenham, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle and Bail Jumping, Failure to Appear. She was also sentenced to 12 months in state jail for Theft of Property less than $2500 with 2 or more Previous Convictions.
Mark Anthony Barnes, 23 of Austin, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also sentenced to 361 days in state jail for Theft of a Firearm.
Aaron Lee Collins, 34 of Brenham, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Exploitation of the Elderly and Burglary of a Habitation. He was also ordered to pay $2365 in restitution.
Matthew Dickerson Cook, 43 of Bryan, was sentenced to 3 years deferred probation for Theft of Material, Copper less than $20,000. He was also ordered to pay $494 in restitution, perform 100 hours of community service, and have no contact with victim.
