WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT TO MEET ON TUESDAY

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court is scheduled to meet in Special Session on Tuesday.

On the agenda for the meeting is for the Commissioners to discuss and possibly adopt the Fiscal Year 2027 Pay Step Plans for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, County Jail, EMS, and Washington County 911, which would go into effect on January 3.

Another item is for the approval of the Texas County and District Retirement System Plan Agreement for the Plan Year 2027 for Washington County and for the County Judge to sign the agreement on the County’s behalf.

They are also going to adopt the Washington County Holiday and Payroll schedules for the Fiscal Year 2027.

Rounding out the agenda is a proclamation recognizing September 7-October 7 as the official period of Washington County READ, and approving an agreement with Liberty Tire Recycling for tire recycling services for the October 2026 scrap tire collection event at the Brenham Collection Station.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets on Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
