NAVASOTA SELECTS KIRBYVILLE’S ALLEN TO BE NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH/AD

Navasota ISD announced on their Facebook Page Thursday that they have named Kirbyville’s Trey Allen to be their new Head Football Coach and Athletic Director.

Allen will be taking the position formerly held by Casey Dacus after he resigned at the end of last season.

This past season, Allen led Kirbyville to an 8-3 overall record. They were District 10-3A Division I Champions, and Allen was named as the District's Coach of the Year.

Prior to his three seasons at Kirbyville, he served as the defensive coordinator at Jasper High School.

Navasota Superintendent  Dr. Stu Musick is scheduled to formally submit Allen’s name to the Board of Trustees for their consideration at their next meeting on Monday night.
