TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED FRIDAY

  

Two people were arrested Friday by the Brenham Police Department.

They report that Friday evening at 6:05, responded to the 500 block of Sycamore Street in reference to an active physical disturbance. Investigation revealed, Kathleen Elizabeth McIntire, 34 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and Interfering with Emergency Request for Assistance. McIntire was booked in to the Washington County Jail.

Then Friday evening at 6:55, Officer James Catchings conducted a traffic stop at the 100 block of Highway 290 West. Investigation revealed that the driver, Johnson Christian Mueller, 26 of Brenham, was intoxicated. Standardized Field Sobriety tests were conducted and showed he could not operate a motor vehicle safely on the public roadway. Mueller was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated with a Child under 15 years of age, and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
