NAMI – BRAZOS VALLEY TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE IN BRENHAM MARCH 2

  

A nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for those with mental health challenges is holding an open house next weekend in Brenham.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness – Brazos Valley (NAMI) will host a meet and greet on Saturday, March 2nd from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.

NAMI will provide information about its efforts to support people with mental illness and their families and improve their quality of life.

Coffee, donuts and kolaches will be provided.  There will also be drawings for door prizes.

  1. This is a great opportunity to get information and learn about support in regard to mental health. I recall when many years ago I was looking for information and support in this county, we did not have NAMI locally. I traveled to Conroe to attend classes for family members who were trying to provide support for a loved one. Please take advantage of dropping by the library to get some information.
